Mission and Philosophy

The Mission of Saint John the Baptist Catholic School
In union with the parents and the Church, the mission of St. John the Baptist Catholic School is to prepare young people to impact the world for Christ.

[dropshadowbox]Our Values
As a Parish-School Family of Formation and Education:

  1. We give praise to God our Father, as a Sacramental People, anointed with the Holy Spirit, who place Jesus Christ, the Word of God proclaimed, the Bread of Life broken and shared, as the King and Center of our School and of our hearts.
  2. We, as Catholic-Christians accept our Baptismal mandate to bring about a Kingdom of Peace, a Kingdom of Justice, and Kingdom of Love.
  3. We as Parish, Parents and Faculty affirm the dignity of each student and prepare them through academic excellence, and development of spiritual well being to embrace the Catholic way of life, achieving this through Pastoral Care, Family Support, Life-long Learning, and Social Activity in an environment of Discipleship, Christian Service, Sacrificial Giving and Charity.
  4. We go forward to our ultimate destiny of Eternal Life – Worshiping at Weekend Mass and Holy Days, which is integral to the formation of our Children, Families and Faculty.
  5. We humbly stand as workers for the Kingdom of God, not its masters.  We are ministers, not messiahs.  We are servants and Prophets of a future that is not our own.  We place ourselves at God’s service, with our limitations and our abilities.
