Our students experience a continuity of community that enhances their sense of our school family. Additionally, our practice of Faith Families, mixed-grade student groups who attend school Mass together and interact socially, creates connections and builds bridges between different age levels.

Technology

Students have regular opportunities in their academic learning to use technology to develop skills that encourage personal productivity, creativity, critical thinking and collaboration.

Religion

Students learn through stories, activities, Scripture, prayer, discussion, and reflection about their Catholic faith. Catholic values are discussed and integrated not only in Religion, but in all learning. Students learn to:

  • Understand and communicate the teachings of the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

  • Participate in Mass and the sacraments.

  • Experience and appreciate a variety of prayer forms.

  • Engage in service projects.

  • Read and comprehend texts relevant to doctrine and teachings.

Language Arts - Students utilize the 6+1 Traits in writing in addition to developing a variety of communication methods.

Mathematics - Students continue to develop number sense and problem solve using newly acquired skills and strategies.

Science - Students use concrete, hands-on experiences to understand science.

Social Studies - Students prepare for their role as informed, ethical and moral citizens in a democratic society.
